Abstract

|
|
A new method for measurement of total serum lipids was introdued by Flings and
Dunn recently based on sulfo-phospho-vanillin reaction and colorimetric determination.
Total serum lipids were determined by this is new method on 100 Korean adults and
obtained mean 398 mg/100 ml and two standard deviation ±120 mg/100 ml. This new
method seems speedy, simple, and reliale to compare with phenol turbidity method.
